Application Development

Depending on the individual requirements of the application, we will generally implement the new application in Microsoft C# with either Razor Pages or React.js, with either a MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL database.

Our Process

Nondisclosure

We will initially sign a non-disclosure agreement ensuring that the IP held within your application is safe.

Business Analysis and Quote

We will analyse your application using our state-of-the-art AI engineering facilities and discuss and agree your requirements for the new application. We will then provide a quote for the work.

Build and Prove

We will build the new application and test it against the legacy application to ensure all functionality has been retained.

Test

We will then provide you with access to a test version of the new application for your QA.

Deploy

We will then deploy the new application to production, either to your facilities, ours, or the cloud as required.

Support

We will support the application in production for 3 months from deployment, after which an optional annual support contract will be agreed.

Application Modernisation

Depending on the individual requirements of the application, we will generally implement the new application in Microsoft C# with either Razor Pages or React.js, with either a MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL database.

Very similar to the Application Development process, but we reverse-engineer the existing application(s) to generate the specifications required to build the replacement system. The most successful migration projects are those that do not change end legacy business process during the migration phase. That is, the new system will, initially, be an exact copy, flaws and all, of the legacy application. this allows us to prove the new application by testing it agaist the old system.
The process is generally;

Understand the existing system and the business processes it supports.
Copy the existing system into our environment (or gain access to a test version in the Client's environment).
Build an exact functional duplicate in the new environment (C# or Go usually).
Prove the new applications against the old.
Update the new application with performance and security enhancements, caching etc to take full advantage of the new environment.
Deploy the new system into production and decommission the old system.

Next requirement analysis and design phase is undertaken to update the application with new business processes and functionality. On the new application is complete and is live and the old application has been decommissioned, the next phase is to update the application with new bus

Examples might include;

Legacy DBase, Access, Delphi, VB, .Net framework applications can be transformed into modern, secure and performant c# .Net web applications.
The Google Go language provides an excelent environment for the replacement of legacy mainframe/mini-computer Cobol/PL1/RPG based applications. It is extremely performant especially with regard to multi-processing/threading event driven applications.
